Living with a SEAL: 31 Days Training with the Toughest Man on the Planet – Jesse Itzler

“The only way to really get better is to experience pain, to get uncomfortable, go to places that you don’t want to go, and improve.” JESSE ITZLER

Ever been stuck in a rut, a routine and going through the motions? Jesse Izlers comic portrayal of living with a Navy SEAL, shows how sometimes, we just need something to smash the routine.

People who would read this book: Routiners as i will now refer to them as, Fitness Fans and those that like to better themselves.

I loved this book, because i’m a strong believer in self growth and getting out of your comfort zone. I feel like with the ‘digital age’ (i’m one of them people) we don’t do it enough.

Although i am slightly skeptical to the build up of the SEAL character, the book also discusses the need for simplification where Jesse also questions his own life. A life, which to be honest, is most people’s dreams. A successful career, loads of wealth and a comfortable life.

The best thing i took away from this book is ‘What would SEAL do’ and the David Goggins 40% rule.

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable

Before you go
